A water main break on Garden Street in Hoboken, reported by the City at 3:25 this afternoon, has affected approximately 150 residents.
The break occurred as a contractor was doing construction to replace a water main on Garden Street, between 12th and 13th Streets. The contractor accidentally struck the existing main, causing the water outage.
SUEZ is working to fix the main and restore water service to the customers in the area as soon as possible.
