Hundreds of Weehawken children participated in the township’s Halloween celebration on Saturday at the waterfront recreation complex. A Ragamuffin parade followed by a Trunk or Treat procession…candy, candy, candy.
It’s become an annual event since the waterfront complex opened up years ago.
Numerous township departments handed out candy to the children, who all had huge smiles on their faces, at least the faces Hudson TV was able to see. Gee, costumes have really become creative over the years!!!
Mayor Richard Turner and the entire municipal Council were on hand to meet and greet residents and their families. All in all, great weather made for a fun, pre-Halloween event in Weehawken.
