Attention Weehawken Residents: As a result of the steady drop in temperatures following Friday morning’s rain, area roadways and walkways may be slippery. You should exercise caution when outdoors.
Also, due to the bitter cold temperatures, the Township will be opening three warming centers at 525 Gregory Avenue, 2-4 Potter Place, and 4800 Park Avenue. The centers will be open today (Saturday) from 9:00 am until midnight. For anyone in need past these hours, arrangements will be made to accommodate. The Township may extend the days of operation on the warming centers based on the weather forecast.
Residents can visit any of the three warming center sites for information. Also, the Police Department can be reached at 201-863-7800 for any urgent matters.
