"No Viable Threat" says Weehawken Superintendent in a Letter

In a letter sent out by the Weehawken Schools SuperIntendent today to Teachers of the Weehaken High School, Dr. Zywicki has addressed a threat made allegedly by a student.

The letter was emailed to Hudson TV by the administration. See below.

Colleagues,

We have received inquiries from parents regarding a threat made by a student against Weehawken High School. We want to assure all students, parents, and staff that we take such matters extremely seriously. The matter was investigated immediately with the assistance of the Weehawken Police Department and it has been determined that there is no viable threat. Safety is our top priority and our regular security measures are in effect.
