Home Hudson County West New York Denies Petition from Assemblywoman Angelica Jimenez Despite Certification
Whenever a petition goes around only registered voters of the town and city can sign it. Most store owners in this town, do not live in this town, therefore cannot sign. Assemblywoman Jimenez, who has lived in this town from childhood, unlike anyone in our present administration including lawyers, knows the rules. Taking it to court would only cost the taxpayers more money with lawyers as the winners, not the people of the town. A petition to an ordinance where residents of the community couldn’t get in to give any opinion should be reread and taken off the books and let the residents decide if its fair.
What’s scary is that she represents us as a lawmaker.
