WEST NEW YORK — The West New York Parking Authority is extending its 2015 residential parking permit grace period to January 15, 2015 in order to best serve our residents.

Saturdays hours have also been added to accommodate residents on January 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in addition to our regular hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In order to avoid potentially long lines, applications can be downloaded from our website at www.wnyparkingauthority.com and emailed once fully completed to admin@wnypanj.com.

A complete application contains the following:

  • A clear, current copy of a valid driver’s license
  • A clear, current copy of the vehicle registration including a West New York address
  • A clear, recent copy of any current bill with a West New York address
  • $10 money order or your credit/debit card information is needed to process payment. Personal checks and cash are not accepted.

We will process the fully completed application and call you when it is ready. The application is available in both Spanish and English on our website. If you have trouble downloading the forms, please email admin@wnypanj.com.

Resident Parking Decals are valid for one year from the day of purchase. Resident parking decals do not excuse residents from paying meters, moving the vehicle on street sweeping days or allow parking in prohibited areas. Decals should be displayed on the lower corner of your front windshield on the passenger side.

The West New York Parking Authority was created in 1964 by the Town of West New York to provide a means of addressing the current and future parking demands of the Town including the preparation of a comprehensive and coordinated plan for the development, financing, construction, operations and/or management of parking resources and certain specific parking facilities located within the Town.
