Mayor Felix Roque, the Board of Commissioners and the West New York Police Department hosted National Night Out Against Crime Tuesday evening at Miller Stadium to connect kids and their families with law enforcement, fire fighters and EMS.
They were all on hand to provide information and discuss crime prevention, drug and violence prevention, health and safety.
There were also children’s activities — including balloons, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, raffles for prizes and much more.
Children who brought a bicycle, scooter or skateboard received a free helmet.
