West New York’s Halloween Festivities

West New York’s Halloween Festivities. The West New York Halloween Ragamuffin Parade and Costume Contest started at 3:30pm in front of the Town Hall at 428 60th Street. There was candy for all participants and following the parade, prizes were awarded to the best costumes for the costume contest at the West New York Middle School. There were four categories for the contest: Infants, 3-4 yr olds, 5-7 yr olds, and 8-10 yr olds. Commissioner Frias facilitated the flow of the event and spoke with Hudson County TV about the excitement of the day.
