WNY EMPLOYEES ATTEND CIVILIAN RESPONSE TO ACTIVE SHOOTER EVENTS

Hudson TV reporter Jeff Henig attended this morning’s CRASE training for WNY civilian employees. The Town has partnered with PMA Companies of Mt. Laurel to train employees how to react in emergency situations, such as those involving gunmen.

Known as Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, today’s session was the first of three taking place in WNY. Since 2017, there have been 242 incidents across the United States, most involving a gunman. More than 50% of these incidents take place at places of Business, with over 20% occurring at schools.
