WNY Fire Displaces Approximately 12 on Monday Morning, 2 Minor Injuries To Firefighters

The cause of a Monday morning fire in a three-story, multi-family home in West New York is unknown, but according to North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue it is believed to have started in the rear garage of the structure located on 58th Street between Broadway and Park Avenue.

About twelve residents from three apartments evacuated the home without injury, but two firefighters suffered minor injuries.  One firefighter suffered a burn while another hurt his ankle.

The Red Cross is assisting those people who have been displaced.
