WNY Restaurant Month Drawing to a Close

Looking to cook up more business on Bergenline Avenue and elsewhere, West New York Mayor Albio Sires declared March as Restaurant Month.

With one week remaining in the month, we asked the Mayor how his initiative has gone in its first go round.  He told Hudson TV that four restaurants participated in the program and he hopes that more establishments participating when the program comes back, whether that be two, four or more times each year.

The goal is to get more foot traffic into West New York restaurants and other businesses along Bergenline and elsewhere in the municipality.

Each restaurant decides on its own promotion, whether it be predetermined, full meal discounts, percentages taken off of a customer’s bill, or something else.

The restaurants participating in the initial promotion, which ends on March 31st, are Noches de Colombia, located at 57th Street and Bergenline Avenue; Hudson Kebab House, 5402 Park Avenue; Centro Latino, at 6217 Bergenline Avenue; and Sabor a Veracruz, 6415 Bergenline.
