West New York’s police unions partnered with the town to hold a holiday toy giveaway for second and third graders at the Middle School on Saturday.
Upwards of 600 youngsters received a gift, and several lucky kids, whose raffle numbers were selected, received really special gifts….large screen TVs, tablets and other electronics.
In addition to the toys and electronics which were given away, the youngsters enjoyed a magic show and received breakfast courtesy of Mayor Albio Sires and the Board of Commissioners, plus the local PBA and PSOA unions.

It was a great way to kick off the holiday season for everyone. Mayor Sires thanked the police unions and all of the volunteers who made Saturday’s event such a success.
