A tragic accident early this morning on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail tracks near the Ninth Street Station in Hoboken has claimed the life of a woman.
Details remain thin, but according to a New Jersey Transit spokesperson, the train hit the woman, who was on the tracks, at approximately 1:12 on Friday morning.
The incident is being investigated by New Jersey Transit Police. The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
