The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the discovery of two bodies found hours apart in the Hudson River, virtually in the same place. The first body, that of a female, was found floating in the Hudson River this morning near Harborside in Jersey City, while a second body was recovered shortly before 1 o’clock this afternoon.
The bodies were both discovered near the Colgate clock, in water near the Morris Canal. Authorities have not said if they believe the discovery of the two bodies are related.
The female victim’s discovery was announced by the Prosecutor’s Office in a tweet at 9:32 this morning.
