What If We Post Your Video but You Don't Win?

You still got your video on Hudson TV — seen by the community, credited to you. The tip-points system still applies. You just didn't have the most views that month. Send another one.

Sending a video does not mean we will post it
Posting your video does not mean we pay you — only the one monthly views winner gets $200
One $200 prize per calendar month
Same incident, multiple senders: we use one file (first or best usable). Duplicates don't compete unless clearly different angle
By submitting, you give Hudson TV a license to use, edit, and publish your video on our site, social, and video channels — whether or not you win
Must be 18+. Original video you shot. Scene in Hudson County or sent for Hudson County coverage.
Views count only on Hudson TV-controlled posts. Not shares by other accounts.

FAQ

Do I get paid just for sending a video? No. You get paid only if we post it AND it gets the most views that month.

Can I send more than one video? Yes. Send as many as you want. Each one we post competes separately.

What if five people send the same crash video? We use one — usually the first or best quality. The rest don't compete unless clearly different angle.

Where do you count views? Only on Hudson TV posts: hudsontv.com, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram. If someone else shares it, those views don't count.

When do you announce the winner? First week of the following month.

Can I still earn tip points? Yes. The $200 is separate from the tip-points system. Both run at the same time.
