2 Newark Women Charged With Shoplifting Nearly $1,000 in Merchandise From Bayonne Walmart

Bayonne Police Captain Eric Amato reports that two, female, Newark residents have been arrested for shoplifting almost $1,000in merchandise from the Bayonne Walmart.  lisha Hall, 28, of Bergen Street and Kadija Kelly, 29 of Pennsylvania Avenue have be taken into custody.

Hall and Kelly were apprehended at 10:50 yesterday morning from the area of Route 440 and Avenue C for shoplifting $961.00 worth of merchandise from Walmart.  During the arrest process, Hall provided false pedigree information to arresting officers in an attempt to hinder her apprehension.

Both Hall and Kelly were charged with shoplifting, with Hall also charged with hindering apprehension.

Meanwhile,  55-year old Martin Cotto of Greenville Avenue in Jersey City, was taken into custody at 11:56 yesterday morning for shoplifting $149.00 worth of merchandise from the Bayonne Lowes.
