Two people were hurt, and multiple residents were left displaced by a 3-alarm fire that took place on Greenville Avenue in Jersey City on Friday afternoon.

A call reporting the flames was received just before 3:30 p.m. The cause of yesterday’s blaze has not been determined.   Various sources report that fire officials are investigating whether the blaze may have started between two buildings, or possibly on the first floor of the six unit structure.

The fire has left between 10 and 15 people displaced.  Two people were injured according to the fire chief, one after jumping from the second or third floor to escape the flames.
