Based on recent executive orders from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, the North Bergen Municipal Pool is preparing to open soon.
All swimming pools in the state were required to remain closed by order of the governor as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Now that certain restrictions are being lifted, the pool will be allowed to open, subject to strict regulations.
The North Bergen Recreation Department is currently reviewing the new state guidelines to determine the best way to open.
More information will be available early next week, including the date the pool will open to the public.
