Mayor Brian P. Stack Announces Warming Centers Due to Impending Inclement Weather
(UNION CITY, NJ) – Due to the impending frigid temperatures and possible snow, Mayor Brian P. Stack has announced the opening of warming centers in Union City for residents seeking shelter from the cold weather on Friday, January 29, 2021 until Friday, February 5, 2021.
Warming centers will be located at the following locations from 9 AM on Friday, January 29, 2021 until 9 AM on Friday, February 6th:
- Bruce Walter Recreation Center – 507 West Street
- 3700 Palisade Avenue
Residents in need should visit the warming centers and avoid prolonged exposure to the extreme temperatures.
