Hoboken Schedules Virtual Community Meeting on Redevelopment of 511-521 Newark Street

Architectural Rendering Courtesy of nria.net                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       A virtual community meeting regarding the proposed redevelopment at 511-521 Newark St. will be held on Monday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m.  The project architect and members of the development team will present the project and answer questions from members of the public.

The proposed redevelopment is within the Southwest Rehabilitation Area, which is governed by the Southwest Hoboken Redevelopment Plan. The 7-story, mixed use development includes 4,460 square feet of ground floor retail, 28 parking spaces on the second level, and 40 condominium residential units on the third through seventh floors. The proposal also allows for the eventual continuation of a rear alleyway running parallel to Newark Street.

No action will be taken by the governing body during the meeting.
