Well, according to Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver, EMILY is a new technology the department just purchased to help save lives on Bayonne’s waterways.
EMILY, which stands for EMergency Integrated Lifesaving lanYard, is a robotic jet propulsion watercraft which can be rapidly deployed to a person in distress in the waters around Bayonne.
