ANCHOR Property Tax Relief Program Deadline Extended Again

There is still time to apply for Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) property tax relief program from the New Jersey Treasury’s Division of Taxation. The Anchor program aims to provide property tax relief to certain New Jersey residents who owned or rented their principal residence on October 1, 2019.

ANCHOR eligibility is as follows:

• Homeowners with income of $150,000 or less will receive $1,500.
• Homeowners with income of more than $150,000 and up to $250,000 will receive $1,000.
• Renters with income of $150,000 or less will receive $450.
