Every summer Union City Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners sponsor block parties in different neighborhoods throughout the municipality. On Tuesday evening, the festivities took place on 7th Street between Central and Summit Avenues.
There were bouncy houses for the kids. Various games, such as basketball and football throws. Music was playing. There were free hot dogs and water, plus popcorn and cotton candy…every dentists’ delight.
It was a fun way to spend a summer evening in your community, meeting with neighbors and connecting with friends and family.
