HOBOKEN, NJ – New Jersey Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro has endorsed Paul Presinzano for the First Ward Councilmember position in Hoboken. This endorsement comes ahead of the city's election scheduled for December 5th.

In her endorsement, Assemblywoman Chaparro, who has served the City of Hoboken for nineteen years and is a lifelong resident, expressed her concerns about the current election's direction. "This year, our 1st Ward Election has taken an ugly turn, and this is something I strongly dislike and is part of the reason why I'm reaching out," Chaparro stated.

Chaparro, a mother, grandmother, and dog owner living in the First Ward, emphasized the importance of voting and its role in driving change. "There's a reason why people don't come out to vote, and it's because they believe nothing will change. But the change our community needs starts with your vote," she explained.

In her endorsement, Chaparro highlighted the qualities she sees in Presinzano. "While many promises have been made and stones thrown, I believe residents can see with their own eyes what's going on. Lying to win an election only hurts Hoboken. Our quality of life and safety are of the utmost importance, and maintaining Hoboken's affordability and government services should be an open-door policy for us," she said.

Chaparro's endorsement is a call to action for the residents of Hoboken's First Ward, urging them to participate actively in the electoral process. "Please cast your vote for Paul Presinzano, Column A, on December 5th," she concluded.
