WNY historian Patrick Cullen, Jr. spent 6 years researching his hometown. His efforts are documented in a new book which goes back before the municipality’s incorporation.
The hardcover was unveiled on Saturday during a book signing at the municipal library.
The nearly one thousand page book covers the municipality’s history going back before its incorporation.
Invited guests received copies of the book. The first printing was paid for using a donation from Mayor Albio Sires. The History of West New York, New Jersey will be available for purchase beginning on Tuesday evening at the town’s library for $48.
