The Town of West New York has postponed Tuesday’s free, food distribution event due to impending poor weather. The event is now scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 9th between 11 am and 12-noon at the DPW Garage, located at 63rd Street between Broadway and Dewey.
The event, which is open to West New York residents, is co-sponsored by Mayor Albio Sires, the Board of Commissioners and the Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services.
Food will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. You should bring a shopping cart or bags to carry the produce you receive.
The municipality will not know what types of food items will be distributed until they arrive on site.
