Union City Opens Emergency Warming Center At UCHA Pavilion

The City of Union City announced this morning that an emergency warming center has been established at the Union City Housing Authority Pavilion on 3911 Kennedy Boulevard through this coming Saturday, when temperatures are expected to rise above freezing.

The emergency center, according to Mayor Brian Stack, will be open 24 hours a day, with three, free meals provided each day and a place to sleep for people in need.

Union City Police will be stationed at the Pavilion to provide round the clock security.

There is also a warming center located in the Musto Center on 15th Street.
