A collaboration between the Black Student Union at Weehawken High School and Roosevelt School 6th graders results in a unique, Black History Month photography exhibit at the Weehawken Public Library.

The photography gallery is open to the public during normal library hours.  The students worked with a professional photographer from Union City to create the exhibit.

The high schoolers selected famous entertainers and had the 6th graders portray them, dressing them to look like those personalities and then took their photographs, which were all done in black and white, and are currently on display in the library.

It was a fun experience for all the students, who learned about some famous African Americans and their contributions to american history.
