Secaucus Announces Food Pickup Dates In Light Of SNAP Disruption

In light of the ongoing federal government shutdown and the disruption of SNAP food distribution, Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli and the Town Council have announced dates when town residents, with proof of SNAP eligibility, may pick up needed food for their families.

Secaucus residents may pick up food on Friday, November 7th from 11 am until 6 pm, and on Saturday, November 8th from 9 am until 12-noon, while supplies last, at the food pantry, located at 145 Front Street.  You must have proof of Secaucus residency.

Mayor Gonnelli and the Council are also asking residents, if they are able, to donate non-perishable food items, as well as baby formula, food, diapers and wipes, plus $25 gift cards.

Items may be dropped off at:

  • Food Pantry, 145 Front Street, Monday through Friday from 8 am until 3pm
  • Community Center, 101 Centre Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8 am until 3 pm
  • Public Library, 1379 Paterson Plank Road, Monday through Friday from 9 am until 9 pm
  • Town Hall, 1203 Paterson Plank Road, 24/7
  • Recreation Center, 1200 Koelle Blvd., Monday through Friday from 5:30 am until 9:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am until 6 pm
