16 Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

Hudson County Executive Craig Guy has announced the 16 inductees into the Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame, honoring a distinguished class of athletes and coaches whose achievements span generations and multiple sports, including football, soccer, basketball, softball, cross country, track and field, wrestling, and baseball. This year’s class includes four women, recognizing outstanding female athletes and coaches whose contributions helped shape the competitive landscape across Hudson County high schools, collegiate, and post-collegiate sports programs.

“Hudson County has a proud and deeply rooted sports tradition, and this year’s Hall of Fame class reflects the very best of it,” said Guy. “These 16 inductees, athletes and coaches alike, exemplify dedication, perseverance, and excellence. They not only achieved greatness in their respective sports, but they also inspired generations of young athletes across our communities.” 

The 27th Annual Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony at Saint Peter’s University Duncan Family Sky Room on the 6th floor of the McMahon Student Center, located at 47 Glenwood Avenue in Jersey City. The event will take place on Thursday, October 8th.

The 2026 Class of Inductees to the Hudson County Sports Hall of Fame include: 

The Class of 2026 represents a wide range of accomplishments, including state championships, school and county scoring records, MVP honors, Coach of the Year recognitions, Player of the Year awards, and inductions into other regional and institutional halls of fame. Many honorees went on to compete at the collegiate level, while others advanced to minor league or semi-professional play, or built legacy careers as championship-winning coaches. 

This class continued the County’s commitment to recognizing the athletic excellence across all eras and disciplines. The inclusion of four women in this year’s class underscores the growing recognition of female athletes’ historic and ongoing impact on Hudson County sports.

All tables have 9 seats and are labeled by the inductee’s last name. PLEASE DO NOT select the Comp ticket unless directed by the inductee, that ticket is for the inductee. Choose the Family Table tickets. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets for children 6 to 16 are $50. Please send an email to inquire about these tickets.
