Hudson County Executive Craig Guy has announced that the application period for both the 2027 Hudson County Local Arts Program (LAP) and the 2027 Hudson County History Partnership Program (HPP) begins Monday, August 17, 2026 and end on Friday, September 25, 2026. Eligible Hudson County municipalities and non-profit organizations are invited to apply, review the guidelines and attend webinars for an in-depth walkthrough of the application.
“Arts and history have the power to educate, inspire, and bring communities together, and these grant programs help make that possible. They are an investment in the organizations that celebrate Hudson County’s identity and enrich the lives of our residents every day. Whether you are expanding an arts initiative, beautifying a neighborhood with a mural, or preserving an important piece of Hudson County’s history, I encourage eligible nonprofits and municipalities to apply and take advantage of this opportunity during the open application period,” said County Executive Guy.
“The Local Arts Program and Historic Partnership Program are about preserving the stories that define Hudson County and supporting the creativity that shapes its future,” said Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development, Director Gina Hulings. “Every year, these grants help organizations create meaningful experiences that connect residents through art, culture, and history. We encourage you to apply and join our webinars on September 1 and September 2 to learn more about the application process.”
The Fiscal Year 2027 Hudson County Local Arts Program and History Partnership Program grants are for programs and services that will be presented from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027.

The Local Arts Program (LAP) is administered through HCOCHA/TD, a unit of Hudson County government, by authority of Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners. Hudson County awards competitive matching grants to organizations, based on merit and financial need, which clearly demonstrate their commitment to the arts in the County by producing or sponsoring arts programs and services of high artistic quality and professionalism.

The History Partnership Program (HPP) is administered through HCOCHA/TD, a unit of Hudson County government, by authority of Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Hudson County Board of County Commissioners. Hudson County awards competitive matching grants to organizations, based on merit and financial need, which clearly demonstrate their commitment to preserving and promoting the history of Hudson County and its 12 municipalities by producing or sponsoring historical programming of the highest quality and professionalism.
