Hudson TV corrects errors promptly and transparently. When we get something wrong, we fix it on the story itself and tell readers what changed. We do not quietly change published facts.
How to request a correction
Email info@hudsontv.com with “Correction” in the subject line, or call/text 862-417-6695. Include the link to the story, what you believe is wrong, and any primary document that shows it. Publisher and Editor Julio Reynoso reviews every request against the primary records and responds in writing.
How we correct
- Corrections: When a story contains an error of fact (a name, dollar figure, date, title, quote, or the meaning of a public record), we fix it and add a dated Correction note to the story explaining what was wrong and what is right.
- Updates: When new information arrives (an official response, newly produced OPRA records, a council vote, or a court ruling), we add it and mark the story with a dated Update note.
- Clarifications: When a story was accurate but lacked important context, we add a dated Clarification note.
- Criminal charges and court cases: Criminal charges are accusations, not convictions. Everyone charged is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. When a case we reported on is resolved, we update the story with the outcome.
