A Tradition Continues, Union City's Senior Valentine's Luncheon

Hundreds of senior citizens attended one of the year’s most popular events on Saturday.  The Union City Valentine’s Day Luncheon.

Held at the Colin Powell School, the event, which has been sponsored by Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners for years, featured performances by the Liberty Ballet Company of Union City, as well as music and dancing for those in attendance.

A hot meal was served by members of the Union City High School Junior R.O.T.C. program.  During the event, the Mayor announced that new senior citizen housing is about to open, and more will be constructed.

A tremendous time was had by all at an event which began years ago.  Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all.
