Accreditation For Secaucus Police Department’s Communications Center

Congratulations go out to the Secaucus Police Department, which made history on Tuesday.  The Department became the first in the state of New Jersey to receive official accreditation for its Communications Center.  The recognition is from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.

The award means the Police Department meets all the necessary standards required by the Association for its Communications Center “to operate at the highest caliber possible.”

According to Police Chief Dennis Miller, “This process was overseen by Lt. Wayne Bruton and carried out by the dispatchers and certified desk officers.”

The accreditation runs through 2024.
