Hudson County Commissioner Fanny Cedeno of Union City has a new title and role, adding Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Commissioner to her list of public responsibilities.
Cedeno was sworn in this week to the bi-state agency.
In an Instagram post, Cedeno stated, “I am incredibly honored and grateful for the trust placed in me. Thank you to former Governor Murphy, my home district Senators, especially Senator Brian P. Stack, and the members of the Judiciary Committee for their confidence and support.
As an immigrant, a mother, and a lifelong public servant, I take on this responsibility with humility and purpose. I remain committed to serving with integrity and working to improve the quality of life for families across our region.
