The City of Hoboken is currently seeking artists to participate in a citywide art walk and crafts market, which will take place on Saturday, May 22 from 11 am – 4 pm. This event is a self-guided, citywide walking tour of artists’ work, photography, and will also include a crafts market. Local artists, photographers and crafters will be permitted to set-up work on the front patio of their residential home or building, or store window.
The City of Hoboken will make public space available for out of town participants in the following locations for outdoor exhibition:
1. Church Square Park – Garden Street bet. 4th & 5th
2. Sinatra Drive Walkway bet. 1st & 4th Street
3. 7th & Jackson Plaza – behind the Monroe Center which is located at 720 Monroe Street
4. 13th & Hudson St Breezeway by the Hoboken Historic Museum
Spaces will be assigned on a first come basis. Artists should supply their own table, chair, easels, display units, or other equipment. The artists or representative should be present and responsible for the work at all times.
A complete list of locations and artists will be made available on the City of Hoboken website and Facebook page, a week prior to the event.
Art work should be family friendly.
All participants and visitors will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
