32nd District Assemblywoman Angelica Jimenez of West New York has been named the 2020, New Jersey Psychological Association Legislator of the Year. The NJPA Award is given annually to recognize the work and achievements of the state’s psychologists, legislators and citizens who provide the financial backing, resources and overall support of the Garden State’s citizens who are dealing with some form of mental illness or mental health concern.
The Executive Board of the NJPA is responsible for naming the Assemblywoman as this year’s award recipient for her sponsorship of legislation targeting individuals, or psychologists, who benefit from services provided by doctors in the field.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s NJPA Awards Ceremony will br held exclusively online during the organization’s Fall Conference on Friday, October 16th beginning at 5 p.m.
The NJPA extends its congratulations to Assemblywoman Jimenez on her achievement and her continued support for those people dealing with a mental health issue.
