Students from New York Dance Artistry, along with professional ballet dancers, returned to the Union City Performing Arts Center on Saturday night for a free performance courtesy of Mayor Brian Stack and the Board of Commissioners.
The school, owned by Mami Hariyama, presented a show at Union City PAC last September. It was so well received, the city invited them back.

Saturday’s performance featured approximately 23 dancers, some as young as eight years of age. Born in Osaka, Japan, Hariyama opened her dance school 21 years ago. She currently has about 35 students.

Do not be surprised if Union City invites Hariyama and her students, along with a group of professional ballet dancers, back to the Performing Arts Center in the future for another evening of beautiful entertainment.
