Bayonne Holding Free Rabies Clinic For Dogs & Cats at City Hall on November 11

We all love our pets.  That’s why it’s important to make sure they are healthy.

Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis has announced that a free rabies vaccination clinic will take place on Saturday, November 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in front of City Hall, located at 630 Avenue C, between 27^th and 28^th Streets.  

The clinic will be split into two sessions.   You can bring your pooch to the clinic between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.   Cats will be seen from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The clinic is only for dogs and cats owned by Bayonne residents.  The clinic will not vaccinate any other kinds of animals.

All dogs brought to the clinic must be on a leash.  All cats must be in pet carriers.  A licensed veterinarian will administer the vaccine at no charge.  Pets must be four months of age or older to participate in the clinic.  

Dog and cat licenses must be renewed by Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  A late fee of $5 will be added to the license fee, beginning Thursday, February 1, 2024.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Residents with questions about licenses, rabies, and the clinic should contact the Registrar in the City Clerk’s Office at 201-858-6029.
