Un hombre de Bayona arrestado por robo de paquetes

48-year old, Herbert Mantilla of Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne was arrested by Bayonne Police at 3:45 on Wednesday afternoon for theft.  According to Captain Eric Amato, Mantilla was taken into custody in the area of Juliette and Kennedy Boulevard after he was identified by detectives as the person involved in a package theft which was reported on December 21.

The victim told police, that on that date, an individual, later identified as Mantilla, removed packages totaling $272.96 from his porch.

Captain Amato says Mantilla also was processed on two, outstanding warrants issued out of Bayonne Municipal Court.  One warrant was for a package theft on December 28 of last year; the other for an unidentified incident.
