Bayonne man arrested for threatening to kill bus passengers in Hoboken

Randy Beato age 30-year-old of Bayonne, NJ was arrested and charged for making terroristic threats at a bus in Hoboken.

On 12/15 at approximately 6:09 am, Officers Christopher Barral, Sgt Luke Zeszotarski, PO Liana Palladino were dispatched to the area of 15th and Willow Avenue on a report of an unruly male on the bus. The officers were advised that the male was threatening to kill the passengers on the bus. From the outside, Officer Barral was able to observe the male appearing to yell at the passengers while waving his arms. As the officers were preparing to enter, the defendant exited and began to walk around the bus. He was immediately taken and handcuffed by the officers on scene. After investigating further, the defendant was placed under arrest for the above offenses and transported to headquarters for processing.

His charges were placed on a warrant complaint and he was later transported to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center.

None of the passengers sustained any injuries from the incident.
