Bayonne Police Arrest City Man For Burglarizing Car

Bayonne Police Captain Eric Amato announced that Nicholas R. Cupo, a 35-year old resident of Broadway in Bayonne was arrested early on Thursday morning for burglarizing a car, among other charges.

Cupo was taken into custody at 4:41 am from the area of 11^th Street and Broadway after being identified as the actor observed by a witness burglarizing a parked vehicle in the area.  The search incident to his arrest led to the recovery of burglar tools, narcotics paraphernalia, and personal items not belonging to him.  The owner of the parked vehicle reported nothing missing from his vehicle.

Cupo has been charged with burglary, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools.
