Photo Credit: Catherine Willhoit A 3-alarm fire is currently raging in Hoboken. The Hoboken Office of Emergency Management is asking people to avoid the southwest area of the city. The active fire is located at 38 Jackson Street. The Hoboken Fire Department is on the scene. As of 8 o’clock this morning, no injuries have been reported so far.
The following streets have been closed to traffic:
- Jackson Street between Newark Street and Observer Highway
- Harrison Street from Newark Street to Paterson Avenue
- Paterson Plank Road from Congress Street, as well as Ravine Road
