The area around Martin Luther King Drive and Fairmount Avenue in Jersey City is on lockdown after a police officer and a civilian were shot shortly past 12:30 on Tuesday afternoon.
Reportedly, one suspect with ” a long gun” is shooting from a bodega. Hudson County S.W.A.T. is on the scene.
Authorities now say two shooters are hold up inside a Jersey City bodega and are shooting at civilians. The area, MLK Drive and Bidwell Avenue, is in lockdown.
The Hudson County S.W.A.T. unit is on the scene. Initial reports say one police officer and one civilian have been shot.
