BREAKING: Shooting Outside Bayonne City Hall

Bayonne police have released an official statement regarding the shooting incident which occurred at 8:25 this morning in front of Bayonne City Hall.

The Bayonne Police Department can confirm that on 07/05/2020 at 0825 hours, officers responded to the area between 27th Street and 28th Street and Avenue C on a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival, officers located a 24 year old male victim with gunshot wounds and immediately had him transported to an area hospital for treatment.  No further information will be released at this time as it remains an active investigation.
