On Saturday morning, Hudson TV reported live from the Union City Police Garage on Kerrigan Avenue, as 700 volunteers from the Brian P. Stack Civic Association packed and loaded trucks with 30,000 turkeys for delivery to residents in need throughout North Hudson. Among the volunteers and dignitaries on hand were Hudson County Executive-Elect Craig Guy, New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy, a candidate for United States Senate in 2024, and former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, a candidate for Mayor of Jersey City in 2025.
The distribution of turkeys will conclude today.
