Launching their first virtual field office, the Hoboken Democrats seek to organize and galvanize people to elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
On Tuesday, August 24, the Hoboken Democrats held a virtual kick-off event to showcase their new virtual field office, outline their campaign strategy for the Fall, and hear from Democrats in neighboring swing districts.
Covid-19 has turned traditional campaigning on its head, but the Hoboken Democrats are committed to getting out the vote in a socially distant and safe, but effective manner. Opportunities such as phone banking, text banking, and post card writing are open to any and all volunteers and can be done from the comfort of your own home.
“This election is too important to stand on the sidelines and we in New Jersey have a responsibility to help our friends in swing districts turn out the vote,” said Rachel Hodes, Chair of the Hoboken Democratic Party. “The past three and a half years have shown us the repercussions of bad leadership, which is why we must elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Democrats up and down the ballot, this November. It is our hope that our virtual field office makes it as easy as possible to get involved!”
