Hundreds of Weehawken children attended Saturday’s annual, Trunk or Treat, Halloween parade at the township’s waterfront park.
Following a parade of costumes featuring everything from ghosts and ghouls, to dinosaurs and cartoon characters, township departments handed out all kinds of candy and goodies to the children’s delight.
It was a fun-filled afternoon under sunny skies and cool temperatures.
Weehawken has sponsored this event for many years. Mayor Richard Turner and members of the Township Council were on hand to enjoy the festivities with the kids and their parents.
