It was an interesting ride home for 45 passengers on a Coach bus this evening. According to NJ Transit, at 6:10 during tonight’s rush hour, the bus struck a traffic light pole at the intersection of Willow Avenue and 19th Street in Weehawken, causing it to topple onto the bus.
No passengers on the Route #84 bus were injured. Annoyed and frustrated, but not hurt.
Weehawken Police are investigating the incident to determine what caused the bus to strike the pole.
