After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, students in the Hudson County Schools of Technology’s, County Prep High School Fashion Design and Textile Program curriculum, once again put on their end of year fashion show on Friday night.
The program, which runs all four high school years, had 43 students this year. It gives students terrific training if they are considering a career in the fashion industry. They learn everything from design drawing, to sewing and creating their own fashions.
Friday’s event was attended by fellow classmates and enthusiastic family members. From seeing the students’ creations, there’s no doubt many members of the graduating class will be going on to fashion schools and ultimately wind up in the fashion industry for their careers.
